Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

This is a real opportunity for patients to become involved with their local practice and to play an important part in agreeing areas or priority concerning the range and quality of the services provided by the practice.

The PPG meets every two months on a Wednesday afternoon with representatives of the surgery to discuss a range of topics relating to patient care. These include the introduction of new services or changes to the provision of existing ones. The PPG carries out surveys and issues communications on key issues of interest to patients.

Current information about the group’s work is posted on its noticeboard at the surgery, and we welcome new members. if you would like to join us, please contact Reception.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. If you are interested in getting involved, please give your details to Reception.
